The AgriCoopValue project consortium kicked off the project and was welcomed warmly on 29th January 2021 by AGACA. The meeting was held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions where all the organisations that make up the consortium were present, with representatives from GEAccounting, ICOS, CONFAGRI, LLKC, AGRRA and ATLANTIS. In a nutshell, the project is funded by Erasmus+ 2017-2020 Programme in Key Action 2 – Strategic partnerships supporting innovation in the training field. The consortium experts share the project aim and to create a favourable framework for the application of a unified social accounting system for agri-food cooperatives at European level in order to monetize their social value and determine their multiplying capacity with rural environment of the EU.
