
AGACA is a co-operative umbrella organisation to promote agri-food co-operative businesses across multiple sections of the economy in Galicia -North-western region in Spain. Our core business is to provide vision, leadership, and value to the agri-food co-operative movement in Galicia, using a collective voice, to strengthen our members operating in today’s ever-changing and competitive world. AGACA established in 1988 as a non-profitable and non-governmental entity. We serve 100 Galician co-ops that collectively have over 34,000 individual members, directly employ >1,000 people and have a combined turnover of arround €2 G.

GEAccounting [Global Economic Accounting] is a non-profit Economic Interest Group, which aims to create a community of people interested in the development and implementation of Social Accounting in all types of organizations. Now, GEAccounting is integrated by 50 entities, among which are Universities, prescribing organizations, consulting entities, as well as user companies and organizations. Our goal is the urbi et orbi extension of Social Accounting, for which we collaborate in the generation and transfer of knowledge in relation to the Social Accounting. The main activities carried out are research, publication, training and certification of the use of Social Accounting, contributing to its normalization.

CONFAGRI was founded in October 1985 and is located in Lisbon, to represent the cooperative Portuguese sector in national and international forums. Employs around 60 people, most of them in Lisbon, but has some technicians spread in all the Portuguese territory supporting the activities of the associated cooperatives and one permanent in the Brussels Office. It is member of COGECA (European Agri-Cooperatives), Member of the Economic and Social Committee of the European Union. CONFAGRI’s main goal is the sustainable development of the agricultural sector, as a support for rural areas viability, in a close dialogue with cooperatives and farming organizations (rural areas’ SMEs), representing more than 50% of Portuguese farmers. Latvian Rural Advisory and Training Centre (LLKC) Ltd – is a consultancy enterprise, established in 1991 and runs a central office in Ozolnieki and 26 branch offices across the territory of Latvia. LLKC employs more than 500 employees and has vast experience in the implementation and coordination of rural development measures as well as in the provision of agricultural advisory services in the country. Zadar County Rural Development Agency (AGRRA) is a public institution established by the County of Zadar (administrative subdivision of the Republic of Croatia). The main AGRRA’s activity is development of Zadar County rural area constituted of 28 municipalities and 4 cities. AGRRA coordinates and implements the activities related to Zadar County rural development and follows national and EU strategies with the aim to harmonize legislation on regional and local level with the agricultural and rural development policies.
